Theatre of Space volume 1 (The RCA Years) consists of b/w street photographs taken by Nigel, while at the Royal College of Art in the early 1980's. Despite gaining a lot of attention at the time, it has remained unpublished until now: Nigel was offered a further 3 years at the RCA, to study film, and so for some years he became more focused on the moving image.

        The book has an essay by the photographer and writer, Gerry Badger which puts the work back into it's historical context.

         Volume 2 which is to follow, consists of photographs taken during travels in Central America (Mexico and Guatemala) in the 1990's.
